Hello. This is Alan Uher. I experienced some frustration while working with Photo Story 3, yet I am pleased how my Pamplona presentation progressed. I was enthused that I could import audio files from Soundzaround (Badger Link) into the presentation. I spent some time on the Audacity software doing a voice-over for the presentation, but I did not know how to upload it to the Photo Story format. Because of that, I sneaked a headphone/microphone combo out of the classroom and did the voice-over portion in the quiet of my home this evening. I also adjusted the recording level to my liking. I will return the hardware to class tomorrow, and I will consider purchasing some recording hardware to have as my own.

I thought that the copyright and fair use exchanges that we had in class today were very practical. As an educator, I need to impart to my students the importance of both honesty and integrity as they surf the web in search of media to include in their digital assignments. As an educator, I also need to model those traits in the digital presentations I share within my classes. In that vein, I perhaps should have included some sort of bibliographical slide in my Pamplona presentation. How does a fellow do that?

Looking forward to Caterpillar tomorrow.

Alan Uher
